Deka Motus AY Handpiece

DEKA introduces the new Moveo PL handpiece, which extends the benefits of Moveo technology to the treatment of benign pigmented lesions.

This new 7 mm handpiece allows for the treatment of skin spots by gradually heating the lesion. Compared to the traditional “single point” technique, the Moveo PL handpiece guarantees excellent efficacy without causing skin discoloration or hypopigmentation.

The new handpiece incorporates a sapphire tip that comes into contact with the skin and optimizes its interaction with the laser. The Moveo method induces a gradual heating of the hair through repeated passes, thus causing its destruction in a completely painless way for the patient and without any side effects.

The total adhesion of the handpiece to the area to be treated reduces energy loss, as it is absorbed 100%. This means that less energy is required to achieve the same results compared to other systems on the market.

The cumulative laser emission allows the delivery of a low-power pulse energy quantity leading to the destruction of hair in a painless manner for the patient and without side effects (burning or discoloration), even for the darkest skin types.

• Moveo handpiece: The Moveo handpiece has been designed for faster and less painful hair removal with the Alexandrite laser. The Moveo handpiece is a new concept in hair removal, where lower and higher fluences are favored to achieve a cumulative heating effect on hair follicles in a safe manner. In addition, the innovative sapphire tip reduces reflected energy loss (up to 50%), which is typical of normal operation. The sapphire tip is kept at a constant low temperature to improve patient comfort.
• Protective glasses: Anyone near a switched-on laser may be exposed to laser radiation. They must therefore wear protective eyewear. DEKA supplies protective eyewear specific to each laser system, wavelength, power, and operating mode. All eyewear complies with the European Community standard EN 207, which is more stringent than the American standard ANSI Z 136.
